These works look at on the urban environment in which Richard lives. Taking the textures and patterns found with the geometry of the structures, he creates beautiful abstract compositions. Capturing the light and shadows as it moves across both man-made and natural forms.
The dominant feature in Richard’s work is light in the urban environment and how it is dispersed, dramatically casting shadows across different surfaces, creating contrasting tones and textures.
