About this listing
This is the fourth in a series of nautical themed abstract works. My inspiration was taken from the colours, textures and shapes of fishing boats moored up in the harbour.
The painting is acrylic on paper, mounted onto card and framed in this box frame, which can either be presented with the painting up to the surface of the frame or sat back 'in the box' using a 'spacer'. This is very easily changed at any time to suit your setting and choice.
For protection, during transit, the glazing will be placed at the front of the frame, but this can be used behind the spacer or not at all to create a ledge to place ornaments and trinkets on, as shown in the photos. Note: the photos were taken without the glazing so you can focus on the painting and not my reflection!
The size of the frame is 26.8 x 26.8 x 6 cms
The size of the mount aperture is 12 x 12 cms
