Heloise O’Keeffe is a Fine Artist based in London and Wiltshire, specialising in portraiture and figure drawing. Heloise began her studies in Amsterdam where her work focused on the expression of the human form and the relationship between model and artist. She later went on to study the Sight-Size technique at Sarum Studio, Atelier of Fine Art in Salisbury, Wiltshire, under the pupillage of Nicholas Beer and more recently at the London Atelier of Representational Art (LARA).
Heloise currently works in South London and Wiltshire, splitting her time between teaching at Masterpeace (an art gallery in Victoria), online classes and working on private commissions.
A subject close to home, Heloise explores the issue of mental health within a lot of her work. Having created a strong collaboration with charities such as Beder, a mental health and suicide prevention charity, she explores how art can be used as an alternative method of therapy, as well as bringing awareness to issues surrounding mental health.
Heloise’s work is predominantly based around the figure, her mediums include charcoal, pencil and oil paint.
